Learning and Development Specialist

Complete Care seeks a talented and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to create comprehensive training materials and design our Learning Management System (LMS). This role is critical in ensuring that our training programs cater to all learning styles and serve as valuable resources for current and new employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing engaging training content, designing assessments, and working closely with department heads to ensure training materials are effective and aligned with company goals. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in preserving and promoting our company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create engaging training materials for various learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.
- Design a robust Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate training delivery and tracking.
- Create assessments and tests to measure employee retention and understanding of training materials.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop content that meets those needs.
- Ensure training materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Act as a culture keeper, promoting Complete Care's values and maintaining a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to employees to facilitate continuous learning and development.
- Some Travel between clinics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in creating training materials and designing LMS.
- Strong understanding of various learning styles and how to create content that caters to each.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with multiple department heads and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Passion for maintaining and promoting a positive company culture.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
